Savannah

Since 1997, we have been offering outstanding hunts, starting with our first savannah camp “Mayo Oldiri”, and later with “Mayo Nduell”, “Mayo Vaimba” and “Djibao”. Our savannah areas are located in the North of Cameroon, between the National Parks Boubandjida and La Benoue. You can expect to run into the famous Lord Derby Eland as well as a herd of elephants, Western roans,North Western buffalos and a lot of different antelope – species you can only find in very few countries throughout Africa!

Savannah CAMPS

DJIBAO (ZONE 23)

Located on the Eastern border of Bouba Ndjida National Park. VIP Eland camp and best camp to find lion.

MAYO NDUEL (ZONE 20)

A small camp with a great variety of game, all season round. Because of the excellent hunting in this area, the camp was used by a French President for many years. This is the best area to find Topi / Kourrigan.

MAYO VAIMBA (ZONE 11)

Characterised by being full of Elands in the early season.

MAYO OLDIRI (ZONE 25)

Located between two National Parks: “Bouba Njida” and “La Benoue”, it’s the first camp that we got and the bigger one we have in savannah.
Perfect area for eland on mid season and the best one we have for buffalo and antelopes; thousands of cobs there. It has a small camp called Mayo Gava.
